Try
your hand at creating some finger food; it's easy &
quick.
To prepare this Salmon
Starter, top crackers with tomato or lettuce slices,
then spread on some cream cheese and plant rolled slices
of smoked salmon on to finish.
Or perhaps your mother would
like a light salad as an appetizer?
In
this case, assemble a mixture of her favorite
vegetables; be sure to include bright colorful
ingredients like red peppers or tomatoes. Add some
fruit for a refreshing tangy taste. For the
Mandarin Salad here, I've added wedges of tangerines.
You can also use fruits that are currently in season to
flavor up your salad creation. Finally, mix up a
light dressing, like honey mustard or oil & balsamic
vinegar, and toss with your salad.
